About Synergy Career Management
As Owner and Career Development Consultant at Synergy Career Management, Debbie is passionate about helping people to change careers, and helping people to develop within their careers, so that they can really get the most out of their working lives.
With over 20 years’ experience within the fields of Career Guidance, Careers and Performance coaching, Recruitment, HR Management and Outplacement, most of Debbie’s experience has been within the Education, Sales, Utility, Publishing, Bookselling and Not-for-Profit sectors, working with individuals at all levels, from a wide range of backgrounds and specialisms.
Her varied careers background, and operation at a senior level in Recruitment and Human Resource Management, means that she has gained a solid insight into and an understanding of organisations and the job market, and how to navigate them. Having herself experienced changes in career direction, re-training, working in both the public and private sectors, redundancy, being an employee and being self-employed, she has personal experience of many of the situations her clients typically want to talk to her about.
Throughout her career, Debbie has coached a wide range of individuals to make considered career choices, from school or college leavers and recent graduates, to professionals and senior managers. She has also managed organisational change programmes and designed and delivered outplacement support to both groups and individuals at risk of redundancy.
Clients and colleagues describe Debbie as professional, enthusiastic, friendly, approachable and easy to talk to, with an ability to connect with others. Taking a practical approach to problem solving, she offers an inspiring and supportive environment in which to help others to move forward.

Debbie works with a number of close and trusted Associates to provide an appropriate level of service for Synergy Career Management clients. Coming from a range of backgrounds, all of her Associates have many years of relevant experience and hold the qualifications relevant to their experience e.g. in the areas of Human Resourcing (CIPD) and/or Coaching.
Debbie and her Associates are able to provide you as an individual or an organisation with the appropriate careers coaching and redundancy support necessary to develop career paths and handle redundancy situations in a calm and supportive way.
